Learning and Training
Pathways to Wellbeing recognises the importance of supporting learning
opportunities.
The executive Committee are offered training to build their
capacity to participate in strategic mental health development.
We maintain a commitment to members also, and when feasible
we sponser members to attend conferences, training workshops
and seminars relevant to mental health and wellbeing.
We deliver WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plans) workshops and
training. Please feel free to contact us regarding this.
Consultancy
Part of reinforcing consumer participation in mental health we
have members of our organisation that attend health and mental
health forums.
We have representitives on the MidCentral Keystakeholder Group
and Local Advisory Group for Mental Health.
We endeavour to foster and build working relationships with
the local District Health Board and other Mental Health providers.
Often we are involved in developing key strategic mental helath
documents that shape mental health services in the MidCentral
Region.
Annual Tertiary Scholarship
We encourage the educational advancement of people who experience
mental illness. We have a tertiary scholarship available for
an individual with mental illness studying at any recognized
tertiary provider in the MidCentral District entering their
final year of study. The value of this scholarship is up to $1,000.

Networking
It is essential that we maintain contact with other like minded
providers, services and community groups. As an organization
we take the opportunity to build knowledge and exchange idea
with other consumer run and lead services. |
