Part of reinforcing consumer participation in mental health we have members of our organisation that attend health and mental health forums.

We have representitives on the MidCentral Keystakeholder Group and Local Advisory Group for Mental Health.

We endeavour to foster and build working relationships with the local District Health Board and other Mental Health providers.

Often we are involved in developing key strategic mental helath documents that shape mental health services in the MidCentral Region.

We encourage the educational advancement of people who experience mental illness. We have a tertiary scholarship available for an individual with mental illness studying at any recognized tertiary provider in the MidCentral District entering their final year of study.
